Volant Productions, based in Reno, Nevada joined Hireuavpro.com this year to show the world what they do best: putting the best production cameras in existence in the air.
The result pretty much speaks for itself:
Volant Productions is a UAV pro business because they’ve skipped no steps in learning how to put the Sony A7, Black Magic 4k, RED Dragon, and Sony A7r in the air. Their suite of cameras has allowed them to not only work with production companies, capturing stunning cinematography, but they also have worked in precision agriculture and aerial surveying.
Some clients they’ve worked with in these industries include, but are not limited to Infinity Gaming, City of Menlo Park, and the City of Reno on various productions.
One such production that stands out was shooting the American Flats: An abandoned stamp mill that became an attraction over the years to families, partiers, and even movie sets.
Now torn down, Ryan McMaster, lead pilot and owner of Volant Productions, directed a short aerial film that captures the mood of the old graffitied complex:
The best part about truly professional and top-notch drone businesses is that their work speaks for itself, and Volant Productions is nothing short of that. The key to getting to this level is simply to fly as much as possible. When asked if they had anything crazy in store for 2015, Ryan replied “fly more”.
