Kopters & Gimbals
Volant Productions offers up nothing but the best. We run a trio of Freefly Systems copters running the latest in MikroKopter Electronics and the Movi M5 and M10 Gimbals. All copters are capable of 400 ft above ground level and stable/smooth flight.
Heavy Lift Octo-copter capable of payloads of 12 lbs for 10 minutes.
Heavy Lift Hexa-copter capable of payloads of 8 lbs for 20 minutes.
A dedicated Hexa-copter for Aerial surveying and photography that can fly a 36 megapixel camera for 10 minutes.
We offer a HD downlink to 4 stations as well that can be used for live stream events and HD monitoring.
Cameras
The Black Magic 4k with it’s global shutter and UHD internal recording in the Pro-res or RAW format make it an impressive camera for aerial recording.
Sony’s A7s has become a Mainstay for recording in the air with amazing low light and dynamic range capabilities as well as the ability to record at 60 frames per second at 1080 HD or 120 frames per second at 720p
Photography in the air is quite demanding and the Sony A7r brings everything precision aerial photography needs to the table, Great images, light weight and impressive lens selection.
