UAV Geomatics is a professional geomatics (surveying) company that offers high resolution surveying and mapping services in Australia.

High resolution, low distortion aerial imagery is acquired from low altitude unmanned aircraft, fixed wing and multi rotor, for 3D mapping, site surveys, agriculture, environment and GIS data collection.

Our fixed wing system is unique; developed from a photogrammetry standpoint, using a photogrammetric camera and a customised gimbal to minimize and quantify image distortions. This sophisticated hardware, currently the only system of it’s type, combined with rigorous processing techniques, achieves the highest possible accuracy, repeatability and reliability in a UAV mapping system.

The multi rotor UAV system adopts the same camera and gimbal technology to create a stable platform for mapping data acquisition. It is a versatile system, suited to smaller projects and confined situations, that can be operated to fit specific client requirements.

Survey deliverables include high resolution geo-referenced orthophotos, a high density colour point cloud and various 3D modelling products such as DEMs produced from the point cloud.
