airV8 is specialized in close range aerial videography for film, TV, web and commercials, using remote-controlled multicopters.

One of the most interesting perspectives is to combine the close moves of a camera  crane and open it up to an unrestricted total view from the sky. Realised with one single piece of equipment – a multicopter.

Furthermore  we realise complete film projects with conventional film equipment, including 5K cameras, from the conception of an idea to the final edit.

The passion for aerial perspectives has begun over 30 years ago. With more than 10 years of experience in building and flying remote controlled airplanes and multicopters as well as experience behind the camera in several international film and photo productions it all came together: flying, filming and getting stoked about awesome aerial perspectives that capture the beauty of nature, architecture, industry and the movement of athletes.

We operate with a minimum of two persons: one pilot and one camera operator. Both are equipped with live view monitors or video goggles.  We use several electronically driven multicopters with gyro-stabilized and steerable camera gimbals. In order to get the perfect shot, both need to have excellent skills in their respective areas while being perfectly in tune with one another.

Imagine your arm works like a camera crane, stretching up to 150 m and turning around at all angles. Especially the perspective in between a crane and a real helicopter is breathtaking.
